A piece of vintage fabric, jewellery or perhaps a significant garment can be incorporated into the doll design, offering not only a beautiful keepsake but one that's full of sentiment.

One of the first dolls I made was for my daughter and to make it a truly unique heirloom, I included pieces from my wedding dress in the design. This idea captured the imagination of my customers and I now receive regular requests to design and create custom bridal doll designs.

Pieces of bridal lace, beading, embellishment or even off-cuts left over after fitting alternations can be included in your design. Some brides also commission a mini version of their wedding dress and accessories on their chosen Thicket & Thimble doll.
